Health and Wellbeing Screen

Entry-level health assessment that helps identifying possible risk factors and creates awareness as to lifestyle effects on our general health.

This basic, non-invasive assessment lasts approximately 30min during which a specifically assigned nurse will guide the patient through a variety of tests including body composition parameters, hearing and vision tests, urine test, blood pressure and lung function test.

The results will be interpreted by a doctor in conjunction with the information given by the patient in our comprehensive medical history and lifestyle questionnaire. The final health report will be sent to the patient within 14 working days.

The Health and Wellbeing Screen will include:
Comprehensive medical history and lifestyle questionnaire
Nurse guided health assessment
  • Height and weight measurement
  • Body Mass Index
  • Percentage Body Fat
  • Resting Blood Pressure and Pulse
  • Full Hearing test
  • Vision test for near, far and colour vision  + VDU assessment
  • Lung function test
  • Urinalysis

Personalised Health Report prepared by one of our screening doctors based on the above test results in conjunction with the information provided by the patient in the questionnaire.

Corporate Screen: Wellman

This screen is specifically designed to identify the key health issues for men of all ages. Although labelled basic assessment it focuses on gender specific health risks and cardiovascular health. It includes blood tests for cholesterol and PSA, resting ECG and a cardiovascular risk assessment.
 
This assessment lasts approximately 40 min during which a specifically assigned nurse will guide the patient through a variety of tests including body composition parameters, blood pressure followed by a blood test. 

This is followed by a short consultation with one of our screening doctors to cover the gender specific risk areas e.g. prostate and testicular examination and provide instruction for self examination and body awareness.

The doctor will then prepare a personalised health report based on the above tests and findings with all information provided in the Well Man questionnaire. The final health report will be sent to the patient within 10 working days.

The Well Man Screen will include:
Specific medical history and lifestyle questionnaire (Well Man questionnaire) 
Nurse guided health assessment
  • Height and weight measurement
  • Body Mass Index
  • Percentage Body Fat
  • Resting Blood Pressure and Pulse
  • Resting ECG
  • Urinalysis

Blood tests for:
  • Cholesterol 
  • PSA = Prostate Specific Antigen (for patients over 45 or if clinically indicated)

Corporate Screen: Wellwoman

This screen is specifically designed to identify the key health issues for women of all ages. Although labelled basic assessment it focuses on cardiovascular health as well as on gender specific health risks. It includes blood tests for cholesterol and hemoglobin, cardiovascular risk assessment and a cervical smear.

This assessment lasts approximately 40 min during which a specifically assigned nurse will guide the patient through a variety of tests including body composition parameters, blood pressure and completed by a blood test.  This is followed by a short consultation by one of our screening doctors to cover the gender specific risk areas e.g. pelvic and breast examination and instruction on self examination and breast awareness.  Depending on the age of the woman and clinical findings a mammogram might be requested.

The doctor will then prepare the personalised health report based on the above tests and findings and all information provided in the Well Woman questionnaire. The final health report will be sent to the patient within 10 working days.   

The Wellwoman Screen will include: 
Specific medical history and lifestyle questionnaire (WellWoman questionnaire) 
Nurse guided health assessment
  • Height and weight measurement
  • Body Mass Index
  • Percentage Body Fat
  • Urinalysis

During the consultation the patient has the opportunity to discuss the management of existing conditions as well as to get advice on potential health issues and preventative measures.  Depending on the age of the patient and clinical findings additional tests e.g. mammogram or echo cardiogram might be requested.

The screen is followed by a personalised health report with all test results plus explanations and recommendations for improving and maintaining health, accompanied by our comprehensive Lifestyle information. 

This comprehensive report will be sent to the patient within 15 working days.

Executive Health Screen Plus

This end of the range health screen lasts between 3 – 4 hours depending on the tests requested.  During this time a specifically assigned nurse will guide the patient through the variety of standard tests including an Exercise ECG as well as our pioneering Arteriograph to assess early signs of cardiovascular disease and also take samples for the comprehensive urine, saliva and blood tests.

This unique combination of blood and urine tests are specifically chosen to identify the antioxidant and nutritional status of the patient, analyse specific risk factors for cardiovascular disease (e.g. homocysteine, lipoprotein (a), etc.) and to focus on detoxification pathways.

This is followed by an up to one hour consultation with one of our screening doctors including physical examination and interpretation of test results that are already available. During the consultation the patient has the opportunity to discuss the management of existing conditions as well as to get advice on potential health issues and preventative measures. Depending on the age of the patient and clinical findings additional tests e.g. mammogram or echo cardiogram might be requested.

Premium Plus Screen

This comprehensive health screen lasts approximately 2.5 hours. During this time a specifically assigned nurse will guide the patient through a variety of exclusive health tests including TDC’s Heart Rate Variability assessment and will take samples for the comprehensive blood tests.

The Premium Plus screen is specifically designed with a focus on assessing the effects of stress on the cardiovascular health and wellbeing of the individual.

This is done through a variety of blood tests to identify specific risk factors for cardiovascular disease (e.g. homocysteine, lipoprotein (a), etc.) In addition the screen will analyse antioxidant levels and response to free radicals and a saliva test for levels of cortisol and DHEA. The latter are key factors in diagnosing early signs of stress and burn-out

This is followed by an extensive consultation with one of our screening doctors including physical examination and interpretation of test results that are already available. During the consultation the patient has the opportunity to discuss the management of existing conditions together with advice on potential health issues and preventative measures.
