Pre-Employment Assessments In times of growth, employers make significant investments in seeking the right people with the right experience. It is therefore logical to assess an employee’s health to ensure they are physically suited to the demands of the job in line with the DDA regulations.

Pre-employment Screen
A pre-employment screen may last between 1 and 1.5hours depending on the type of employment and the complexity of the medical examination required. During this time a specifically assigned nurse will guide the patient through a variety of tests including basic assessments, such as body composition parameters, hearing and vision tests, blood pressure, carbon monoxide and lung function tests as well as taking samples for blood and urine tests.

Afterwards, the applicant will attend a full examination and consultation with a TDC screening doctor. The doctor will provide the employer with a written non-clinical report as to the fitness of the individual in respect to the position being applied for.

The pre-employment examination and assessment will cover the following areas:

1. Healthy for employment

2. Healthy for employment with adjustments

3. Medical report from GP may be required
